Tale of the swansong: Complete

    The Swansong soared across the sky in a fleet of airships from every land, armed to the teeth with weapons and people to fight for their lives and those they love.  Standing on the command bridge was the Clovie Queen, dressed in her armor.  Beside her stood her fiance, Frostbite,  also dressed with armor under his cloak.  “I hope that everything goes well,  I’m not too sure that having all these windows underneath was a good idea my love.”  He said from within his hood, his yellow goggles glowing.
   “Probably not…but our guns would have made us a bit too heavy, I was planning on attacking from below their fleets…” Allurna said, sliding her hand into his. “I am glad you decided to come and fly with me…I want to be with you if…”  He gripped her hand, “don’t think like that…there is no place I would rather be.”  
    The helmsman shouted, “My Queen! Bogies sighted port side!” Allurna tensed and released frosts hand to walk toward the helm and look out to see where they were sighted. “So soon??  Get the cannons at the ready!! “ she commanded to the other crewmates.  She peered into the cloudy sky and spotted the first ship.  “Is that one of ours? Make sure before we fire! I don’t want to shoot down our own! No accidental casualties!”  
    Everyone was thrown into  a scramble as the airship before them turned and faced them,  “ARE MY CANNONS READY?!” Allurna yelled.  As she yelled, cannon fire shot past them toward the enemy airship- from one of the others in the fleet- and it exploded against it and it started to drop slowly.  The crew cheered and one of them reported, “that was The Revenge! They shot the ship down! It looks like they are following it.” Allurna looked to Frostbite, “looks like your airship is doing some damage, I bet you are proud.” She smirked.  He smiled back but no one could tell because of the shadow of his hood.   This was the 5th small battle they had had since they left Clovie.
    She stepped up back towards her command chair, the sight of all her fleet moving  about them from the wide windows. A voice came over the intercom in a desperate panic, “it’s a dummy! Abort course! I repeat! ABORT COURSE! PROTECT THE SWANSONG!! ABOR-” silence. The crew looked confused and shocked, as the ship beside them suddenly burst into a flaming inferno.  The window shattered and a Strong gust of wind filled the flight deck- but as soon as the air rushed in, It pulled everything like a vaccum. Two of the crew members were sucked out into the sky, and many clung to their stations.  Allurna braced herself against a turbine casing, Her fiance hung to the compass that rose from the floor, his hood ripped back showing his fear and desperation to hold on.
    “LOCATE THEM AND FIRE OUR CANNONS!” Allurna Barked over the rushing sound. After a while the cannons fired below and to the other side of them, causing the airship to rock and begin to slowly tilt. Frost shouted, “Allurna!!” Allurna took this chance to  run in hopes to grab her fiance’s hand. “Frost!!” her hand outstretched as the ship was suddenly hit and tossed violently as frost had reached for her. He flew back and out of the window and was gone from sight. “FROST!!!!!” Allurna screamed as she watched her beloved plummet from view.
    Feeling that she may very well have lost her love forever, and once again being alone, Allurna tied herself to the bench of her command chair and commanded the crew to keep fighting and to start the landing process as they were already loosing altitude. She was ready to go down with the ship and take out every last one of those bastards.
